Strategy

Anti-Air are unambiguous about their primary role, they shoot up, and are one of only two ground units to do so effectively.
If an anti-air manages to attack any kind of flying unit it will do massive damage. However, anti-airs are often outmaneuvered by the more agile flying units, and in especially tick terrain they become less effective.


You'll likely need a few anti-airs to handle a bomber, as when a bomber manages to get the first attack on a lonely anti-air it will cripple it severely (or destroy it outright ), thankfully, bombers are such a heavy investment you can probably afford to make a couple more anti-airs when you see one produced.

An interesting side note, anti airs also do massive damage to infantry and mechs, much more then normal tanks, this is because they use their main cannon on them instead if a side arm, but this also means they use up ammo.
